Epiphan VGA2USB PRO model: Portable, external VGA frame grabber in aluminum casing.

The VGA2USB Pro can capture VGA streams at resolutions of up to 2048 x 2048 in a 24-bit palette, and is able to achieve a maximum capture rate of 60 frames per second. Encased in solid aluminum, this device uses the most advanced FPGA and Philips ADC in order to achieve pixel rates of 270 Megapixels per second.

Because FPGA and 32MB RAM lossless compression is performed on board with normal utilization USB bus bandwidth, lossless 2048 x 2048 with 30 fps is achievable in the majority of applications.

Packing 32 Megabytes of buffer RAM, on board cropping, integrated color space conversion, USB Transfer Accelerator™, and Compression Booster Filters™, this is Epiphan Systems’ most powerful VGA grabber.

Interface Supports USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 buses. Performance of the VGA2USB PRO device will be significantly downgraded, however, when connected to a USB 1.1 bus.
